The ribbon-cutting ceremony starts at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday\, May 10th and will take place at 78446 Highway 111\, La Quinta\, CA 92253.\n\nThe Desert Wine Shop\, located at the northwest corner of Highway 111 and Washington Street in La Quinta\, is a boutique wine shop featuring a fun Tasting Bar situated along the backdrop of a large mural showcasing notable Coachella Valley landmarks and cities\, a quaint patio with outdoor seating and a unique selection of wines from around the world.\n\nThe Desert Wine Shop hosts two tastings weekly: A Taste for Tuesdays every Tuesday\, and the Finally Friday tasting on Fridays. Both tastings begin at 4:30 p.m. For $10\, you'll have the opportunity to taste a few different wines while being guided through the tasting in order to receive insights into the regions and historical backgrounds of those wines. In addition to the Tuesday and Friday tasting events\, Desert Wine Shop also selects a few featured wines by the glass each day.
