DESCRIPTION:Join the City of Indio\, Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce\, and the Indio Chamber\, for the 6th Annual Indio California BBQ State Championship and Festival. This KCBS sanctioned BBQ championship draws pit masters from across the nation to compete for a $10\,000 purse. As part of the festivities\, BBQ competitors will be offering their championship style delights for sale to the public.  Come out and sample some of the best contest quality BBQ in the nation!\n\n\n\nThis year's event will include live entertainment\, craft beer garden\, kids' zone\, music and more. Admission to the event is FREE!  The Festival will be held on Saturday\, November 6th at The Lights at Indio Golf Course located at 83-040 Avenue 42\, Indio.  The event will open to the public at 10:00 AM and conclude at 5:00 PM.  There is a $10 charge for parking.  \n\n\n\nPresented by the City of Indio and Title Sponsor Coachella Valley Buick GMC.
