The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce along with The Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce invites you to the grand opening of The Paper Dolls. The ribbon-cutting ceremony starts at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 27th and will take place at 79-710 highway 111, La Quinta, CA 92253.

The Paper Dolls has been in the valley since 1972 founded by Barbara Lawrence, who began the business with a girlfriend as wall paper hangers. Both ladies gained the nick name of “The Paper Dolls”. Later on Barbara opened a wall paper store which then turned into a furniture and decor store which after the pandemic, the business focused on window and wall coverings. Today, after Barbara’s retirement in 2022, the business is owned by Maria Villamar, a committed woman who is eager to continue to serve the clients of the Coachella valley and provide as much of an outstanding job Barbara once did offering Hunter Douglas window treatments, custom drapery, wallpaper design services and more!
