The Butterfly Mission teaches individuals how to help themselves, as we support their efforts while they progress into a productive and self-sufficient member of society. We treat everyone with the highest level of respect, which is reflected in our mission to help each individual gain dignity and self-respect through accomplishing achievable goals. We help each individual set goals that ensure immediate and continuous victories, as well as offer a safe place to fall back on when met with opposition and at time failure. We help them understand that obstacles are part of the journey and failures allow for learning when met with insight, compassion, patience, and awareness.
