About Us

Veterinary Urgent Care of the Desert (VUCD) is a veterinary hospital in Palm Desert. We are and AAHA accredited hospital, open 7 days a week with extended hours to offer care when the pets of our community need it most. We provide urgent care, emergency, and surgical services for dogs and cats of the valley. VUCD is privately owned by local residents, and proud to serve the wonderful community in the Coachella Valley.

We strive to consistently provide an exceptional, compassionate and convenient healthcare experience that we would want for ourselves and our loved ones.

We offer a wide range of urgent care, emergency, and surgery services, including:
Emergency stabilization, triage, x-rays, lab work, ultrasound, oxygen therapy, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and more.

Monday through Thursday from 10am to 10pm
Friday through Sunday from 8am to 8pm
