Join the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce and title sponsor AT&T as we welcome Assemblymembers Eduardo Garcia and Chad Mayes for our Legislative Mornings Series on Friday, June 3rd, at CSUSB Palm Desert in the Indian Wells Theater. The Assemblymebers will address Higher Education and Broadband legislation and opportunities for the Coachella Valley, and more current legislation. Join us to hear directly from our elected assembly members and to learn how Sacramento is affecting your business. As part of our business education platform, we work to keep our members updated on issues and trends relevant to the business community.
Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia serves as Chair of the Assembly Committee on Utilities and Energy. He proudly represents the 56th Assembly District, which includes the cities and communities of Blythe, Brawley, Bermuda Dunes, Calexico, Calipatria, Cathedral City, Coachella, Desert Hot Springs, El Centro, Holtville, Imperial, Indio, Mecca, Oasis, North Shore, Salton Sea, Thermal, Thousand Palms, and Westmorland.
Chad Mayes was first elected to the Assembly in November 2014 to represent the 42nd District in the California State Assembly. This Inland Empire district encompasses parts of San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
The event will be held on Friday, June 3rd, at CSUSB Palm Desert in the Indian Wells Theater, located at 37500 Cook St, Palm Desert, CA 92211. The event begins at 7:30 AM and concludes at 9:30 AM. A light breakfast will be served sponsored by Chandi Group USA and CHANDI GROUP USA and Dunkin’. Admission is $15 for members, and $30 for potential members which includes parking.
