About Us

As a member of The General Federation and California Federation of Women's Clubs, the GFWC Woman's Club of Indio's mission is enhancing our community through active, committed, civic-minded participation. We belong to an international women's organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. As such, we award annual high school scholarships to Indio seniors, have an Empowering Women Through Education scholarship, support the Coachella Valley History Museum as a project, support the Coachella Vallely Rescue Mission, and support Indio public schools through literacy projects among others. We meet the first Wednesday of the month at noon at Heritage Palms Golf Club October through May.
